Horizontal Hold (final show!) + Maple Stave + Three Body Problem

Say goodbye to scene stalwarts with a seismic symphony of rock!

Horizontal Hold = You might’ve heard through the grapevine that HH is breaking up. It’s true! They’re still pals, but couldn’t be a band forever. So they recorded a few songs and booked two last shows, of which this is the final. Featuring Kerry & Dave Cantwell, Elizabeth Hammond, and Kim Walker.

Maple Stave = Pretty much the state of the art in nimble ‘n’ loud post-hardcore metal-guitar rock. Clangy, dense, lovely. A Durham institution, to be sure, but also just great people making wonderful music.

Three Body Problem = Might be the best punk band in Durham. They’re certainly the most funnest band and most greatest people. But they also happen to play some of the most wonderful ‘n’ weird post-punk dancey ditties around and we (and Dave Cantwell, from whom we cribbed the blurbs) love them so much.

Doors 7:30 pm, show at 8 pm. $10 cash/Venmo at the door (no one turned away). BYO or sample what’s on hand.
