Movie Loft presents “Wolfman”

Movie Loft morphs into May with a screening of the 1979 Southern “gothic” flick Wolfman!

From the legendary Earl Owensby studios in Shelby, NC comes this lycanthropic tale of an heir (Owensby) who learns of his hirsute and fanged fate and must confront a Satanic reverend to make it stop.

No survey of NC film would be complete without a visit to the E.O. Corporation stables and this 70s genre stab is a fine place to dive in. Wolfman was directed and written by Worth Keeter (Hot Heir, Dogs of Hell, lots and lots of Power Rangers videos), a long-running associate of Owensby. Featuring nifty soundtrack work by David Floyd & Arthur Smith, along with some werewolf costuming efforts you really gotta behold, find out what happens “When the Full Moon Rises”…..

Wolfman was filmed primarily at the Earl Owensby studios in Shelby, NC, and has other area Cleveland County locations.

FREE! Donations appreciated. Wolfman and werewolf and wolf and moon-howlin’ tracks playing, and hot wieners a-grillin’, starting at 7 pm. Movie to roll around 8ish pm.
