An evening of music and movement solos, duos, and a quartet, from some of the area’s top improvisers!
Barbara Dickinson (dance) is a professor emerita and former longtime chair of the Duke Dance Department. She has performed, taught and presented her choreography in numerous concerts, master classes and workshops in schools, colleges, private studios and dance festivals throughout the United States.
Laurent Estoppey (saxophone) is a Greensboro-based saxophonist, composer, and sound artist. He generates numerous collaborative projects involving multiple art forms between the United States and Europe.
Jiwon Ha (dance) is an Adjunct Professor of Dance at Elon University whose work often bridges cultures and artistic disciplines.
Daniel Levin (cello) is well known for his distinctive voice as a cellist, improviser, and composer.
Doors 6:30 pm, show at 7 pm. $10 cash/Venmo at the door. BYO or sample what’s on hand.
