The popular poetry/performance series pops up again!
We’re proud to host long-time friend of Paradiso, Kylan Rice, presenting his new book Name & Earth out on Bench Editions, Stephanie Anderson visiting all the way from China, and fabulous local poet Julia Drescher. It’s going to be a steamy July do-not-miss.
KYLAN RICE is the author of three poetry collections: Cloud on Page Opposite (FVE 2027), Name & Earth (Bench 2026), and An Image Not a Book (FVE 2023). He edits Thirdhand Books and teaches nineteenth-century American literature at Utah State University. @b.kylan.rice
STEPHANIE ANDERSON is the author of several poetry books and chapbooks, most recently Bearings (DIAGRAM/New Michigan Press) and If You Love Error So Love Zero (Trembling Pillow Press). She is also the editor of Women in Independent Publishing, a book of interviews (University of New Mexico Press), the co-editor of All This Thinking: The Correspondence of Clark Coolidge and Bernadette Mayer (University of New Mexico Press and Eclipse Archive), and the founding editor of Projective Industries (a chapbook press that ran from 2008–2018). Recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Annulet, Antiphony, Fence Steaming, Gulf Coast, and elsewhere. They live and work in Suzhou, China. @stephanieruthanderson
JULIA DRESCHER lives in Garner where she co-edits the press Further Other Book Works with C.J. Martin. She has one full-length poetry collection, OPEN EPIC, from Delete Press, & beautiful days press will publish The Cuts in September.
