Active Imagination: A Festival of New Dance + Music – Night 3
Synchronicity Arts presents the opening night of a new multi-disciplinary arts festival!
Rooted in Durham’s vibrant creative and experimental performing arts community, Active Imagination brings together innovative dancers and musicians from across the Triangle to showcase new and improvised work in an immersive split-bill experience.
Each evening transforms Shadowbox Studio into a space of discovery and conversation between artists and audience, catalyzed by dynamic performances in an intimate setting.
Visual art and sculpture by Jason Lord will be installed throughout the venue, adding another dimension to the festival space, while also providing additional material to be incorporated within performance.
Light fare and beverages provided by Sanctuary Series Kitchen will be served, inclusive in the ticket cost.
Shadowbox Studio is ADA-compliant. There will be one row of chairs on the floor and the rest on risers, in order to provide an optimal viewing experience for everyone.
