Shadowbox’s series for the adventurous moviegoer invites you to take a flick chance!

Ready to add an element of excitement and danger to your movie viewing routine?  Backchannel Cinema has just the ticket. We ask a rotating roster of curators to pick underseen movies that fire their imaginations. The catch is we don’t reveal the title of the film ahead of time.

This month’s curator, Raleigh-based art director GrayDaughter, has picked a doozie, and sends these clues:

Midwestern love story
Dysfunctional family
Go bowling
