Synchronicity Arts presents an evening of improvisation and collaboration featuring:

Devin Gray, drummer, composer, and bandleader based in Brooklyn, NY. “An amazing percussionist, Gray’s stunningly detailed playing sounds like a cross between Fritz Hauser and Roy Haynes.” (All About Jazz)

Daniel Levin, “one of the [cello’s] most brilliant contemporary practitioners” (The Wire).Levin has performed extensively throughout the USA and Europe, and has recorded more than 20 albums as a leader or co-leader, which can be found on Clean Feed, HatOLOGY, Not Two, Trost, Riti, Mahakala, and various other record labels.

Barbara Dickinson, professor emerita and former longtime chair of the Duke Dance Department. She has performed, taught and presented her choreography in numerous concerts, master classes and workshops in schools, colleges, private studios and dance festivals throughout the United States.
