Movie Loft presents “Dream a Little Dream”

Can even Harry Dean Stanton save a film starring the Coreys??

Roger Ebert created the “Stanton-Walsh rule,” which states that any movie that features Harry Dean Stanton or M. Emmet Walsh, however briefly, cannot be all bad. However, Ebert said there was one clear violation of the rule, which we’ll screen this month, Dream a Little Dream (1989)!

This body-swap comedy tells the tale of teen Bobby Keller (Corey Feldman) and old dude Coleman Ettinger (Jason Robards), who find themselves switched, Freaky Friday style, after a collision. Harry Dean is around as neighbor Ike Baker. Plus: Corey Haim, Piper Laurie, Meredith Salenger, REM, extreme Michael Jackson impersonating, the height of late ’80s teenage fashion, and so much more!

And, by popular demand, wieners are returning for the warmer months! Grillmaster Rob will be back on the grates of steel, serving up the Sabretts nice and hot starting at 7 pm!

FREE, donations appreciated. Doors ’n dogs at 7 pm, movie commencing at 8 pm. BYO or sample what’s on hand!
