Movie Loft presents “Fool for Love”

Join Movie Loft in March for the third gathering of the year-long Harry Dean Stanton Appreciation Society, a series featuring some lesser-encountered movies that included the one and only HDS!

This convening brings an encounter with Robert Altman’s 1985 drama Fool for Love. Written for the stage by Sam Shepard, who also adapted the script for the screen, the flick tells the tale of May (Kim Basinger) who is waiting at a wayward motel when an old lover named Eddie (Shepard) arrives and matters get sordid. Harry Dean stars as the Old Man who, among other things, believes in his mind that he is married to Barbara Mandrell. Oh yeah, plus Randy Quaid!
