Movie Loft presents “Joysticks”

Movie Loft jostles into June with a screening of the Porky’s-in-an-arcade shenanigans of Joysticks (a/k/a Video Madness)!

Blasting out of 1983 with more ribald zaniness than you can shake a joystick at, this teen sex comedy is a true classic of the genre and a total riot. “TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEO GAAAAAAMES!”!

Director Greydon Clark (Satan’s Cheerleaders, Wacko, Uninvited, etc.) helmed this tale of a local businessman (the late Joe Don Baker!) attempting to shut down the scourge that is the local video arcade. Employees and patrons must fight back to preserve their space and mixed up in it all is the raucous King Vidiot (Jon Gries) and his crew of punk rockers. Will the kids prevail or will the stodgy adults be the ones walking tall?
