Reading for the End of the World

Poets read us into the void

It’s Earth Day and the world is ending daily—feels like that, right? So let’s embrace it in all the ways we can with a Reading for the End of the World. A mini-festival of 15 area poets reading rants, laments, dreams, plans, solutions, yawps, analyses, and all else having to do with our shared apocalypse.  The event is free, even though we aren’t.

Organized by Durham Poet Laureate and Poetry Fox, Chris Vitiello, who tries at all times to end the world and start the next one. The Durham Poet Laureate is a part of the City of Durham Cultural & Public Art Program.

Doors 6:30 pm, reading starts at 7 pm. FREE, donations welcome. BYO or sample what’s on hand.
